When do I NOT need a Safety Certificate (RWC)?

 

Answer

An RWC is NOT required in the following scenarios

  • The disposer is in an area of exemption
  • A beneficiary of a deceased estate
  • Transfer takes place between spouses (including separated married couples and registered partners – until such time that the divorce or application to end the registered relationship is finalised)
  • Remote locations.
